How to give a reason?

Because/cause

That’s way

As/Since

Because of
EXPRESS A REASON
• BECAUSE (c)
>>  I was worried because your blood pressure
was drop

In conversation we very often use the form 'CAUSE

>> The doctor prescribed you ibuprofen cause

your temperature was being unstablle
EXPRESS A REASON
• BECAUSE  OF + noun (p)
This is a preposition, so it is not followed by a
clause with a verb, it is followed by a noun or
noun phrase

>> The doctor was late because of the traffic

>> Your current temperature is high because of
infection process
EXPRESS A REASON
• AS / SINCE (c)
These conjunctions are formal. In a less formal language we prefer the
equivalent with SO:

As today is your last day hospitalization, I will provide you some

informations about your home treatment.
(= It is your last day hospitalization, so i will give you some
informations about your home treatment)

Since your blood glucose is unstable, I think you should concern on
carbohidrate consumption
(= your blood glucose is unstable, so I think you should concern on
carbohidrate consumption )
They're used when the reason is already well known,
or it is less important than the rest of the sentence.
These clauses often begin the sentence:
>> Since today is your last day hospitalization, I will
provide you some informations about your home
treatment.
      >> Since you’ve diagnosed TB infections, the doctor
prescribed you rifamfisin.
      >> It's very noisy here, since your room close to a
construction area.
• THAT'S (THE REASON) WHY (c.)
This relative clause is very commonly used to express
reason (especially in its short version)

   >>  Your leucosite is under normal value, that's the
reason why you are susceptible to any infection.
    >> I didn’t know corticosteroid shouldn’t consume
in long period, that’s why i kept consume them

• Yes, but don't you think…
