same?
What is asked in the problem?
What are the given facts?

snacks to your friend? How?
PRESENTATION
Joy and Dale are twins. They always share
their things equally. Even their mother gave them
the same amount of anything, whether money,
toys, candies, and others. But one day, their
father gave them 25 chocolates. They decided to
divide the chocolates for the both of them in the
3:2. If Dale receives more chocolates that Joy,
how many chocolates each one of them will get?
DISCUSSION
Given: 25 – total number of chocolates

3:2 – ratio for Roy to Dale

Solution:
3 + 2 = 5 Add the two ratios
25 ÷ 5 = 5 Divide the total number of chocolates to the sum
Dale: 3 x 5 =15 Multiply the quotient to the part each one received
Joy: 2 x 5 =10
