Directions provide us information in doing something.
They are given in different ways.

one-step, two-step, three to four - step,
directions.
One - Step Direction

Three to Four- Step
Direction
First, get the book on the table.
Then, open on page 50.
Lastly, read the story silently.
Signal Words
Sequence words or signal words are used to
give the order of the directions. Signal words
such as first, next, then, finally or lastly,
introduce the steps in a process, direction or
a sequence of event.
How to prepare a
Calamansi Juice
First, cut crosswise three pieces of calamansi.
Next, squeeze the sliced calamansi into a glass.
Then, add water and sugar to taste and stir gently.

b. Make the directions simple and easy to follow.
c. Give the directions step by step.

b. Take note some keywords in the directions.
c. Ask questions if there are some points that you
don't understand.
