2/4 Time Signature


Songs written in 2/4 time signature have
beats that go in 2s. This means that
every complete measure in the song
contains rhythmic patterns equivalent to
two beats.
A bar line “|” is the vertical line that you
see to divide the measures. And a
measure is in between two bar lines.
Study the example below on how math
works on music. Be sure to remember the
values of note and rest.

Directions: Complete the following measures


by putting a note/s or a rest/s. make sure
every measure got 2 beats series of rhythmic
patterns.

Directions: Color the measure “green” if the


set of notes and/or rest if it’s correct or
complete with the 2/4 time signature. And
color it “yellow” if it’s wrong or incomplete.
