• Shree Renuka Sugars is an integrated manufacturing


company with strategic focus on Sugar and its allied
products in Power and Ethanol. The Company's registered
office is in Belgaum, Karnataka and Corporate Office is at
Mumbai. Our key manufacturing facility is in Munoli, 70 Kms
from Belgaum and also operates a leased facility at Ajara,
Maharastra. The company is working on other acquisitions,
expansions and lease opportunities to strengthen its existing
strong fundamentals and growth prospects.

• The Company’s vision is to become the most efficient processor of
sugar and the largest marketer of sugar and ethanol in the country.

all its plants to improve margins and reduce cyclically of business.

• Renuka sugars limited have their owned facility at munoli unit and
leased facilities at ajara and mohannagar.
• The main promoters of the company are Mrs. Vidya
Murkumbi (Executive Chairperson), Mr. Narendra Murkumbi
(Managing Director) and associates. The Board comprises eminent
persons of rich corporate and industry experience.

STRATEGY
Here company mainly focus on formers because the main raw material
(sugar cane) came from formers so that the company provide some
facilities to the formers.
The facilities are:

100seasonal workers are working in the factory. Apart from this
there are 15 managers through out the factory to control the
activities of the various departments.

• SRSL LTD is very integrated player in sugar industry. The company
processes sugarcane into three co products viz. sugar, ethanol,
power.
• The company has the control on the seasonal affect through
producing sugar not only with sugarcane and also raw sugar.
• It has maintained excellent relationship with farmers.

WEAKNESSES
• SRSL is bearing extra cost of exporting the sugar to the foreign
countries.
• Non availability of raw sugar in excess
 
OPPORTUNITY
• It is going to have a largest sugar refinery unit in India,
which enables the co to enjoy better economic scale.
• The company has easy excess for importing raw sugar
and exporting white crystal sugar for foreign countries.
• SRSL is well equipped with superior technology.

THREATS
• The company has to face the threat of competition from
competitors from like Ugar sugar industry Ltd, Godavari
sugar Ltd, Shri Prabuligeshwar sugar works ltd.
• The sugar pricing policy of the government is also big
threat to the company usually the levy prices fixed by
the government are very low and fall below the cost of
production.
