WHAT IS A SPEECH?
• An official verbal presentation that is
meant to achieve a certain goal. The aim
of making a speech or even writing one, is
to convince your audience to buy into
your idea or pay attention to your subject
of discussion.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
• Refers to the analysis of your target
audience. This is important for you to
tailor-fit the content of your speech and
be relatable to the audience.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
• Who are they and what do they want?
• It is the process of gathering and analyzing
information about the audience members
attributes and motivations with the
explicit aim of preparing your speech in
ways that will be meaningful to them.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS INCLUDES:
