 Chidiock Tichborne
 Born on: 24 August, 1558 A.D in Southampton, England
 Son of Peter Tichborne and his wife Elizabeth 
 He was an English conspirator and poet
 He was 28 years old at the time of his execution

 He wrote this poem in the form of letter

 Before one day of his execution
 There are three stanza in this poem
 First Stanza:
• Writer explains failure of life
• Even though he is still young, his life is going to end
• His youth time is full of pain
• Its almost impossible to fulfill his dreams and desires
He regrets for everything happening in his life

 Second Stanza:
• It is said that he used to be preachy
• But none of the people spoke for him
• He gets upset as no one is there to speak his positive aspects
• There is no time for him to do better things

 Third Stanza:
• He explains that main reason for his execution is he himself
• He wants to live more but death has followed him from womb
• But death is reality for him

 Known death develops more frustration and depressive thoughts
 This poem also shows mental situation of a person whose death is near

 It is true that everyone fear when they know that their death is near
Some unconvincing points:

 It is hard to find out weather writer is a good person or a criminal?

 Wasn’t he mentally prepared before committing crime?
 If death was painful for him, then why did he involved in crime?

• If we commit crime then its result will be surely bitter
• We should be strong enough to face unexpected situation in life
• We should be positive and spread positivity around us
