ADAPTION OF ANIMAL IN

HABITATS
ADAPTION OF ANIMAL IN HABITAT

• Adaptations are any behavioral or physical characteristics of an animal that

help it to survive in its environment. These characteristics fall into three main
categories: body parts, body coverings, and behaviors. Any or all of these
types of adaptations play a critical role in the survival of an animal.
ADAPTION OF ANIMAL IN POLAR REGION

• They have thick fur or feathers, blend in with the white snow, or hibernate
during the coldest winter months.
ADAPTATION OF ANIMAL IN RAINFOREST

• Camouflage.
• Mimicry.
• Having A Limited Diet.
• Poison.
• Reduction of Size and Stature.
• Changing of Habitats.
ADAPTION OF ANIMAL IN DESERT

• desert animals get away from the sun's heat by digging underground burrows.
Other common adaptations seen in desert animals include big ears, light-
colored coats, humps to store fat, and adaptations that help conserve water.
ADAPTATION OF ANIMAL IN WATER

• Aquatic animals have adaptations to regulate temperature, since water

transfers heat faster than air. aquatic animals have lots of adaptations for
moving in the water, like a streamlined design, flippers, and a swim bladder,
which acts like a ballast for the fish.
ADAPTION OF ANIMAL IN FOREST

• Animals in deciduous forests have to adapt to changing seasons. They must

be able to cope with cold winters and hot summers. Some animals hibernate
or migrate during the winter to escape the cold. Others grow thick fur and/or
layers of fat to help make it through the winter months.
