FIRES EARTHQUAKE
In case you discover fire : 1. Seek protection from potential falling
- trigger the fire alarm hazards

Chemicals are indispensable in some processes and so a program on ensuring
safety is a must. Program includes Chemical Safety Training of all handlers,
Right-To-Know corner where all Safety Data Sheet or SDS are located,

Machine Safety Program
• Never by-pass any equipment/machine safety interlock & guarding. Any
equipment/machine found in said condition shall be SHUTDOWN.
• Use Lock-out /Tag-out (LOTO) system while doing Preventive Maintenance activity to
prevent anyone from starting & powering up the equipment during the entire duration
of PM activity.
• Know the location of emergency button.
• Wear the appropriate PPE when working with equipment.

It is the European Union’s (EU) Directive on the

What is China RoHS?
 This also covers the RoHS substances, some of the Sony Green Partner list and
some of the REACH banned and restricted substances
 And added particular on the labeling for environment friendly logo for the
packing materials
The Electronic Information Products (EIP) Units that do contain hazardous

logo or other label is used to mark parts and substances are also marked with an

What is REACH?
REACH is a new European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe
use (Ref: EC 1907/2006). It deals with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation
and Restriction of CHemical substances. The new law entered into force on 1 June
2007
