Core Argument
• During their 20 year stay in Afghanistan, United States failed to provide basic
governing infrastructure and institutional structure which interned created grave
challenges for the newly formed Taliban regime. The Taliban regime faces
enormous challenges from foreign policy to domestic political stability and there
is extreme efforts required to meet those challenges.

• To investigate the aspects that aid in the resolution of a wide range
of concerns about the new Taliban regime.

To find out state building challenges faced by taliban regime and to provide policy
recommendations in order to cope up with these challenges.

Methodology
The paper mainly uses secondary type of research; collecting data from various sources such as
published research papers, news articles, books, recorded interviews and other secondary
sources of data collection. The research method is purely qualitative in nature, uses deductive
reasoning and after a deep analysis of collected data, arguments asserting the research
objectives are formulated.
