clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work
of thy hand.

Jeremiah 18:3-4
3Then I went down to the potter's house, and,
behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
4And the vessel that he made of clay was
marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it
again another vessel, as seemed good to the
potter to make it.
Ephesians 2:8-10
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ
Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 4:11-13
11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets;
and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers;
12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the
knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of
Christ:
