First Trial
- Venus ordered
Psyche to sort
out various
grains from it’s
heap according
to it’s kind
before
nightfall.
 Second Trial
- Venus was not
satisfied with
the first trial,
she ordered
Psyche to get a
golden fleece
from the opposite
bank of the river
 Third Trial
- Venus ordered
Psyche to go to
the underworld
and has to ask
Proserpine for an
elixir of beauty.
Just at the
opening of
Erebus, Psyche
met Charon to
ferry her to
Underworld.
 There in the
Underworld,
Psyche met
Proserpine and
asked for what
Venus has told
her.
 Psyche
encountered
danger on her
way back from
Proserpine when
she met Cerberus
at the gateway.
 Psyche safely
went back from
the Underworld
but she had met
misfortune after
being too
curious.
 Cupid after
having been
healed from his
wound, rescued
Psyche from
sleep, and had
lived back to
Mount Olympus.
Psyche became an
immortal after
having eaten
ambrosia.
