HIMALAYAN MOUNTAIN
The Himalayas are a mountain range in Asia separating the plains of the Indian
Of india’s subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. The range has some of the planet’s
Highest peaks, including the highest, Mount Everest. Over 100 peaks exceeding
7,200 m in elevation lie in the Himalyas
THAR DESERT
The Thar Desert, also known as the Great Indian Desert, is a large arid region in the
North western part of India subcontinent that covers an area of 200,000 square km
And forms a natural boundary between India and Pakistan. It is the world’s 20th
largest Desert, and the world’s 9th largest hot subtropical desert is located in
Rajasthan state, North western India, and partly in punjab
NORTHERN PLAINS
The Indo Gangetic Plains, also known as the North Indian River Plain, is a 0.70-million
square km fertile plain encompassing northern regions of the INDIAN subcontinent,
including most of northern and eastern India. The northern plains are located on the
northern part of India
GANGES
The Ganges is a trans-boundary river of Asia which flows through India and
Bangladesh. The 2,525 km river rises in the western Himalayas in the indian statev
Uttarakhand.
NATIONAL ANIMAL OF INDIA .
The magnificent tiger, Panthera tigris is a striped animal. It has a thick yellow coat of
fur with dark stripes. The combination of grace, strength,agility and enormous power
has earned the tiger its pride of place as the national animal of India
