work of creation WHAT IS CREATION? • Creation is the ability to bring into existence what was not existing ACCOUNT OF CREATION DAY 1 • God created light (Genesis 1: 1-5) In the beginning there was total darkness and God said ‘let there be light’ and the light appeared DAY 2 • God made the firmament (Genesis 1:6-8) God separated the waters from the waters and the waters above He called the Heavens. This includes the skies and the clouds Day 3 • God made the Seas, Land and Vegetation (Genesis 1 : 9-13) and God said let the earth bring forth grass, herbs that yields seed and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind DAY 4 • God created the heavenly bodies (Genesis 1:14-19) God made the Sun, Moon, Stars and other Planets. The Sun was to rule the day and the Moon and Stars to rule the night DAY 5 • GOD made the Sea animals and the birds of the air(Genesis 1 : 20-23)

that move in the water and every winged bird according to its kind and He said be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the sea and let birds multiply in the earth DAY 6 • God created land animals and man (Genesis 1:24) On the last day God created different animals according to their kinds and God saw that it was good and He said ‘let us make man in our own image according to our likeness and let him have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and the beast of the earth’.
