Study tips

Study the text book, as well as your notes and materials from the lectures and
workshops!!

Review the exercises/ questions in the textbook, but also the assignments
from the workshops: the exam questions will be very much alike!

Use the accompanying website (knowledge tests and exercises) with the
textbook to test yourself

Exam tips

Use officially issued exam paper for your final answers (scrap paper will not be
graded); we do recommend using scrap paper to first draft your answers before you
finalize them!

Write your answers to the multiple choice questions on the same sheet of exam paper as
your answers to the open-ended questions as follows: 1.: B

Read all the open-ended questions regarding the case before you start answering
the first one!

Give concise, yet complete answers to the open ended case questions.

Write clearly and legibly. Unreadable = wrong.

• Describe research location (where would you carry your actual data collection
out?)
• Describe the most appropriate/ fitting method of data collection
• SUBSTANTIATE your choices on population, location and method for data
collection (explain WHY and HOW your choices would contribute to finding (the
most complete) answers to your research questions
• Design 5 survey or interview questions, depending on the type of research
question you have formulated
