SOPHIES WORLD
 The story begins with
Sophies receiving
two messages in her
mailbox and a poster
addressed to Hilde
Moller Knag which is
contains question in a
letter asking Sophie
‘ who are you and
the origin of
everything’’.
SOPHIES WORLD
 Through George Berkely’s philosophy, Sophie
and Albert finally learned that their entire
world was a literary building created by
Albert Nag as a gift to his 15th birthday
daughter Hilde.
 Hilde begins reading her manuscript, but she
begins to turn her back on her father after
sending finctional characters such as Little
Red Riding Hood and Ebenezer Scrooge to
continue interfering with sophies life.
 Albert helps Sophie resist Nag’s rule by teaching
her everything she knows about philosophy from
Renaissance to Romanticism, Darwism, and Karl
Marx’s ideas.
SOPHIES WORLD
 Hilde decidedto help Sophie and Albert to take
revenge on her father. Sophie and Albert can’t
interact with anything in the real world and
can’t be seen by anyone but other fictional
characters.
 Sophie wants to ride a rowing bout, but alberto
reminds her that they arent real peopleand cant
manipulates her objects.
 Hilde reunite with his father and set ou to regain
his boat.
