(Conversion section)

Weak Acid Leaching &Jarosite: The thickened residue from the neutral leach is further treated in weak acid
leaching, with spent electrolyte. The underflow from the weak acid leaching is treated in Conversion section
with sodium Sulphate .
The clear solution from Jarosite stage is further treated in Pre Neutralization section and recycled to Neutral
leaching stage. Jarosite cake is filtered on horizontal Belt Filter. The Jarosite cake from filter after repulping is
sent to ETP where it is neutralized with lime slurry and is pumped to Jarosite pond for its storage.
