SEAL
CONSTRUCTION
•The multi-labyrinth seal was designed to
protect bearings from the ingress of dirt
and contaminants. The seal is pre-
lubricated and pre-assembled, maintaining
roller lubrication and extending bearing
life. The multi-labyrinth seal was developed
in HDPE with flame inhibitor additives,
without the need to use the rubber
retainer, giving the roller a lower initial
inertia mass and consequent energy
reduction for the use of the rollers.
ADVANTAGES OF
END-FORMED

• The shape of the end cap avoids the need to dynamic balancing and
machining, which allows for higher belt speeds
• Suitable for application of high capacities and high belt speeds, it
gives less vibration and noise emission;
• The end cap is formed as an integral part of the housing in a single
tube.
• The shaped end cap increases roller reliability, which leads to low
failure rates.
• Simultaneous finish machining of mechanical housings improves
alignment and increases service life.
• Shaft design increases load capacity.
• Sealed bearings keep the grease in place for ensuring extended
bearing life.
• Circularity, linearity, and rigidity are exceptional. Inherent balance
of G<16, according to DIN ISO 1940, maximum concentric deviation
of 0.3 mm
Manufacturing
process

Initially, the tubes are laser

cut, according to the pre-
established dimension, in the
automatic process performed
by the LASER PLUS machine.
After cutting, inspections are
performed to control the
beat (ovalization) and
retilinity of the tube. The
robot feeds the GFU
magazine, where the tube
will be forming. In GFU the
tubes are heated by
induction and conformed by
a metallic matrix.
Manufacturin
g process
After forming the two sides,
the tube returns to the robot
to feed the CNC to perform
the simultaneous machining
of the two housings.
Simultaneous finish
machining of the mugs
improves alignment and
increases service life.
Manufacturing
process

After machining, the rolls are

sent for blasting, internal
cleaning, and painting. After
painting the rollers are
assembled and inspected.
After approval, the machined
parts are protected, and the
rolls are packaged and
released for delivery.
