Connection Status of
ATN,TopSky, D-ATIS
Voice-ATIS broadcasts normally contain the following
information in the order listed:
• surface wind
• name of aerodrome;
• visibility and, when applicable, RVR;
• arrival and/or departure indicator; • present weather;
• time of observation, if appropriate; • cloud below 1 500 m (5 000 ft) or below
• type of approach(es) to be expected; the highest minimum sector altitude,
• air temperature;
• the runway(s) in use;
• dew point temperature;
• significant runway surface conditions
and, • altimeter setting(s);
• any available information on significant
• holding delay, if appropriate; meteorological phenomena in the
• transition level, if applicable; approach and climb-out areas
including wind shear, and information on
• other essential operational recent weather of operational significance;
information; • trend forecast, when available; and
• specific ATIS instructions.
