This manual contains private and/or proprietary information which may not be used
or disclosed outside Mahkota Management except pursuant to a written agreement
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
• Report to work on time and in the proper uniform. Uniforms
are not to be taken from the penthouse without permission.
They are not to be worn outside the penthouse for personal
use. Wear your name tag at all times.

• Check with your Supervisor before assuming duties.

• Check the Bulletin Board and Schedules each day.

• At the end of your shift, clean and prepare your station for the
relieving shift. Do not leave your shift until you have been
relieved.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
• Be respectful to your Supervisors and Manager. They are
trying to help you to do a better job.

• Personal calls are not accepted during working hours. Your


Supervisor will take important messages. Employees may
make return calls on the public phone when not on duty.

• Report all accidents to the Supervisor immediately so that all


unsafe conditions and practices can be corrected and to
complete information on file covering accidents with guests.

• Turn-in lost articles immediately to the place designated by
your Supervisor so that they can be returned to guests who
make inquiries.

• Do not chew gum or nibble on food while on duty.

• Keep your locker clean.

• Do not keep flammable materials, food or other


perishable items, liquor, money, valuables, or soiled clothing
in your locker.

• If you have a problem, see your Supervisor or the Manager.

• Telephone well in advance of starting time if you are unable to


report for duty, or are running late.

• Avoid talking in loud voices, clapping hands or snapping
fingers to attract the attention of another person when guests
are present.

• No whistling, humming, chewing, smoking or eating in public


areas where guests can see or hear you.

• Please avoid slouching or leaning on furniture or against walls.


• Please avoid walking with your hands in pocket.

• Friends and members of your family are not allowed to visit


you at the penthouse.

• Do not discuss politics, religion, or scandals. Do not criticize


guests or discuss any controversial subject with guests. Do
answer questions about the penthouse, sightseeing, the
country, and any other subjects that will make their stay more
enjoyable.
• Do not gather in groups to discuss personal matters or
business.

• Do not spend too much time in conversation with the same


person. Remember to treat guests equally.

• Do not use the first names of guests unless invited to do so.

• Do not be argumentative with your co-workers specially while


on duty.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
• Shoes should be black, closed-toe, and polished daily. Tennis
or sports shoes are unacceptable.

• Men's hair should be carefully trimmed and groomed.

• Women's hair should be clean and carefully combed. If it is


long, it should be pulled back away from the face and securely
fastened.

• Nothing should be worn in the hair that is not part of the


uniform.
