What is the meaning of weather and
climate ?
• Weather generally refers to day-to-day conditions of the
atmosphere at a place with regard to factors such as
humidity, wind, rainfall, speed and direction of wind.
Climate is the average weather pattern of a place taken
over a long period of time.
1.Assam

With the tropical monsoon climate, Assam is temperate


(summer max. at 95–100 °F or 35–38 °C and winter min. at
43–46 °F or 6–8 °C) and experiences heavy rainfall and high
humidity. ... Spring (March–April) and autumn (September–
October) are usually pleasant with moderate rainfall and
temperature.
2.Kerela

Humid tropical wet climate


Kerala, which lies in the tropic region, is mostly subject to the type of humid
tropical wet climate experienced by most of Earth's rainforests.
3.Jammmu and Kashmir

Sub tropical climate


The Jammu region has a sub
tropical climate and the summer
is hot. The temperature starts
soaring in the month of March
and is at its peak in the month of
April. The maximum temperature
in summer can go as high as 45
degree Celsius. Kashmir is quite
pleasant with the temperature
varying from 14 to 30 degree
Celsius.

Mumbai is usually hot and


humid. Jun–Sep is the wet
monsoon season. Dec–Jan
is dry, with warm days and
mild evenings.
