INFLUENCES ON PERSONALITY DIMENSIONS
• Neuroticism and Extroversion are more strongly influenced by heredity than
environment. However, they are traits that can be changed to a certain extend
through a determined effort.

• Openness, Conscientiousness and Agreeableness are thought to be determined


by the environment, hence these traits can be changed, over time, through
training.
