Sandless Process
1 . Wet Process

“The Process” consists of applying Mr. Sandless grog, followed by water, and
finishing with a neutral solution. This wet process serves to create microscopic
holes in the existing polyester and will clean the floor simultaneously.

The wet process is essentially mopping the entire floor and covering floorboards
with all three liquids.

2. Detailing

After completing the process, floor detailing is necessary. This can include
scraping off scratches or smudges, or any substance that is unwanted.

Detailing can also include painting bare wood spots with a wood dye solution.
Color matching here is extremely important as any painted spots are easy to see.

3. Seal and Finish

After the wet process and detailing have been completed, the final step is to apply
sealant and finish.

Sealant is applied to re-seal the floor following the wet process. The layers of
sealant can vary from 2-4.

Finish is applied according to the level of shine desired by the customer.

Sanding Process
1 . Trim Removal

2. 40-grit Sanding

Edging and main floor sanding typically begin with 40-grit sandpaper

3. 60-grit Sanding

Depending on the job, edging sanding may begin at 60-grit

4. 80-grit Sanding

Edging at 80-grit must be performed prior to main floor sanding at 80-grit.

Finish Options
1 . Matte

Low shine; can make imperfections more obvious.

2. Satin

Medium shine; most popular customer choice; can hide minor

imperfections.

3. Gloss

High shine; can hide some imperfections but can make others more obvious.
Most Important Notes
- Be Meticulous
- Even small imperfections can be highly noticeable, so try to fix everything
that you can.
- Be Patient
- Whether sandless or sanding, the process takes time. Don’t try to rush any
step. The end result is more important than completing the job as fast as
possible.
- Be Forgiving
- Forgive yourself and the floor. No job is going to come out completely
perfect, but the goal should be to minimize imperfections and allow
yourself (and the floor) some grace.
Expectations
The new employee is only expected to do his/her best. Good
work ethic is the most valuable asset. As long as you are
willing to learn and improve, the company will work with you
to achieve success together.
Payroll and Vacation
Payroll - pay is completed via Quickbooks and will be directly deposited to the
employee’s provided bank account on the 1st and 15th of every month.

Vacation - vacation does not directly accrue but will be granted to the employee
given the appropriate notice and in reference to the quantity of job opportunities.
Because jobs are sometimes uncertain, the employer reserves the right to deny
vacation requests and ask the employee to wait until job opportunities slow
down.
Thank you.
