Lesson Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:

○ 1. examine biases (for or against) made by the


author;
○ 2. differentiate biases from prejudices;
○ 3. compose forms of literary writing;
○ 4. distinguish among informative, journalistic and
literary writing;
○ 5. write an informative, journalistic, or literary
writing;
○ 6. organizing an outline; and
○ 7. Express views and opinions authentically on the
basis of factual information and on the principles of
freedom and charity (2 Corinthians 5:10)

Go to Genyo Forum, there you will be given a couple
of comic strips. After analyzing the comic strips, you
will be asked to share your opinions regarding the
statements made in the comic strips.

○The students will be paired, they ill write an article
about the recent news about the new variant of Covid-
19—the omicron variant. They can choose to write
either a News, Feature or Editorial article. Their article
must have three paragraphs in minimum, an
introduction, a body and a conclusion. They will be
given 40 minutes to do this task. Students will put
their answers in Microsoft Word. Students shall pass
your work to their Genyo ePortfolio and Gdrive folder.
