* INTRODUCTION OF STUDY

 The study intends to see the satisfaction level of the


employees on the facilities provided by the organisation and
how these welfare measures boost the employee’s morale.

 Employee welfare work aims at providing such service


facilities and amenities which enable the workers employed
in an organization to perform their work in healthy
congenial surrounding conductive to good health and high
morale.
* OBJECTIVES OF STUDY
 To identify the existing employee welfare facilities in
MVR cancer centre and research institute
 To study the satisfaction level over the existing
employee welfare facilities.
 To identify the weak areas of the employee welfare.
 To study how the organization motivate the employees
by identifying and satisfying their unsatisfied needs.
 To give appropriate suggestions to improve the
satisfaction level of labours over the welfare facilities.
* LIMITATIONS OF STUDY

 Time was one of the limitations during the project work


because of the lack of time the sample size was
restricted to employees.
 The study was limited to some departments only as well
as number of employees.
 The respondents were unable or unwilling to give a
complete and accurate response to certain questions.
 Some false information may be given by the respondents.
* STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The welfare measures of the employee are essential because of the


nature of the industrial system. Today workers are an essential
element contributing to the growth of the organization. If we make an
overall survey of the living and working condition of industrial
workers, the necessity of labour welfare measures would be apparent.
In case of MVR CANCER CENTRE & RESEARCH INSTITUTE there are
more than 600 workers employed and the company is responsible for
the welfare of these workers. Hence the present study is conducted to
learn the level of satisfaction of the employees regarding the welfare
measures.

* FINDINGS
 From the study it is revealed that 100% of the
respondents are not getting residential quarters.
 It is observed from the study 32% of respondents are
satisfied with the canteen facilities
 The study shows that 76%of respondents are satisfied
with the transport facility
 From the study it is observed 78% of respondents are
satisfied with welfare measures provided by the
company
* SUGGESTIONS
 The residential quarters should be provided
 The quality of canteen food is should be improved 
 The travel allowances should be provided extra to the
employees or else transport facilities must be arranged.
 To reduce the dissatisfaction among youth workers regarding
recreational facility
 To create sufficient awareness about welfare programs
 Should maintain the employee employer relationships at the
entire life.
 To improve the development programme
 To improve the loans and advance
* CONCLUSION
 The study concludes that, the labour welfare in “MVR
CANCER CENTRE AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE” is effective
but not highly effective. This study highlighted so many
factors which will help to create the awareness of
welfare to the labours.
 The company is having better welfare activities and the
labours are satisfied with their welfare schemes provided
by the management
 Labour welfare is very important to run the company
successfully so the company should follow the welfare
activities regularly to improve the labour satisfaction in
their working environment.
