THE TIME OF NEGOTIATION

Business in Indonesia usually

it took longer to negotiate.
Why this happened? Because
Indonesians think of everything
be careful and wait for the right
time
to decide something. And if so
business
partner presses them and asks
them to decide quickly,
Indonesians will feel doubt
RUBBER CLOCK

Many meetings are often delayed

because some people are late
most Indonesians feel they have
flexible time.
Not to mention the traffic conditions
in the capital, which are jammed
almost every day and the journey to
the meeting place is hampered. This
includes bad business culture
HIERACHIAL SYSTEM

Show respect by calling sir or mother,

This is to show respect to those of
higher ranks even though they are
younger
THE WORD YES = MANY MEANINGS

This does not mean agreeing to the

word yes in Indonesia just to avoid
Conflict Where during the discussion,
they were eager to avoid disagreement
and several things. However, the reality
is different.
FRIENDSHIP IN BUSINESS

Choosing a business partner because

you have a relationship first,
This happens because most Indonesians
believe that to run a business well,
they need a good partner. And without
clear background notification of partners,
no business ties will be formed,
which can have a negative impact on the
business
BUSINESS ATTIRE
Business dress is conservative.

Men should wear dark-coloured business suits

for an initial meeting, although you may be able
to forgo the jacket and wear dark pants, a long-
sleeved white shirt, and a tie thereafter.
(In general, businessmen of higher status retain
suit jackets, while their subordinates wear ties and
long-sleeve shirts.)

Women dress conservatively, with skirts covering the

knees and sleeves covering the arms.

Natural fibres work best in the tropics.

So what is the importance of learning the culture
and business attire?
so that we understand how the culture / habits of Indonesian
people in doing business so that negotiations and meetings in
business go well, in every country the business culture and
business attire can be different.
