We are going to start the lessons today as mentioned below:Kou


Xin Cai ( 扣心斋) For ladies, you should start from your left hand on top of your right hand. And for gentlemen,
you should start from your right hand on top of your left hand.We will show you how to hold your Xin Cai for the
gentleman. Applicable for ladies as well.1. Use your thumb and index finger of your left hand to form a circle.
Insert your thumb of your right hand into the circle until it touches the bottom of the ring finger of your left
hand.2. Put the tip of your right middle finger on top of the bottom of your left hand’s ring finger.3. Close up the
rest of the right hand fingers and at the same time, roll up the rest of your left hand fingers together.3. Finally, put
your Xin Zai on the Tantian, about one and half inches below your navel.Note: For ladies, the reverse is true.

Taiji Preparation ( 太极预备式 )1. Transfer your weight to the right foot and raise your left heel slightly above the
ground. At the same time, turn the back of both your hands facing to the front with the wrists slightly tilted.2.
Straighten your left heel and keep your weight on the right foot.3. Land your left heel shoulder width on your left
horizontally and keep your weight on the right foot.4. Transfer your weight from the right foot to the left foot.5.
Straighten your right foot and keep your weight on the left foot.6. Transfer your weight from the left foot back to
the centre of your body.

BEAR SWING ( 熊经) 1. Place both your heels closed together and hold your Xin Zai ( 心斋) 2. Proceed and
continue with your your Preparation ( 预备式) 3. Once you have completed your Preparation, raise your hands
about 45 degrees in front of your body. Round your elbows and open up your hands twice the size of the
shoulder width.4. Transfer your weight to your left foot and turn your body to your left in unison.5. Likewise,
transfer your weight to your right foot and and turn your body to your right in unison.Repeat the same
movement from left to right.
Cloud Hand ( 云手 )!. From the last step of Bear Swing, transfer your weight to you left while bringing up your left
hand to the middle of your body on the top and your right hand will follow the body to the middle at the bottom front
of the body. 2. Continue turning your body to the left in unison until you cannot turn it any further. And without any
delay, transfer your weight to the right and this time you bring up your right hand to the top and your left hand go
down to the bottom until you position yourself in the middle of the body facing upfront. 3. Repeat and continue the
exercise to your left and right.

Camel Walk ( 行功) 1. Continue from the last step of your Cloud Hand and transfer your weight to the left while
swinging down your right hand from the top right and bring it up to the upfront at the middle of your body. 2. At
the same time, your left hand below will be swinging down to the back of your body on the left.3. At this point, the
distance of both your hands (front and back) from your body should be equally positioned.4. Repeat the same
movement as you transfer your weight to the right with your left hand swinging to your front and your right hand
to your back.

vercoming the mental distraction to attain the peace of mind ( 降魔降心) 1. Put your heels
together and hold your Xin Zai.2. Relax your body, clear your mind and regulate your breathing.3.
Move your body forward slightly as you open up your heels 4. And continuously, move your body
backward to open up your toes.5. Repeat the same movements seven times until the distance
between your feet is about one and half shoulder width.6. Relieve your Xin Zai naturally until the
hands pause in front of your thighs. 7. Raise up your hands until they almost levelling with your
shoulders.8. Turn both your palms inward and facing each other.9. Close up your hands until the
tips of your middle fingers touching each other.10. Roll out the fingers outward until the palms
touching each other.11. Bring in your palms without moving your elbows until your fingers
especially the middle finger almost pointing to the direction of your throat. 12. Lower your hip
joints slightly and hold on for about one minute.13. Roll out your hands towards the front until
they are almost becoming straight.14. Open up your hands with your palms slowly facing
downward horizontally, until they almost become a straight line.15. Bring down your shoulders,
elbows, wrists and hip joints together.16. Hold on the posture for about one minute.17. Start
from the toes and followed by the heels, you move backward and forward to close up your
footsteps until they become one shoulder width.18. Bring in both your hands and cross them in
front of your chest. 19. Let down your hands slowly until they pause next to your thighs.20. Put
