Problem Identification
Heavy labour force is used in construction
industry. For plastering, labors require
large amount of muscle power.

Time is another problem of construction

industry. To complete a single project, a
months or a years are spent.

Lack of modern technology usage is

causing a problem related to design, safety,
improper analysis and time consumption.

Wastage of cement is a common problem

related to construction industry.

On construction sites, safety concern is

also a big issue.

2
Aims and objectives

Aim of the The aim of this project is to make 3D modelling, numerical

Project: analysis and performance testing of wall plastering machine.

Objectives:
To make 2D structure and 3D model of wall plastering
machine using AutoCAD/Solid works.

To numerically analyse and get the results of wall plastering

machine.

To simulate and validate the results using Ansys/Fusion 360.

4
Pre-plastering
requirements

 The brick structure should be

developed in a proper manner.
 Manufacturer’s conditions should
be met.
 The wall plastering machine
should be installed properly.

5
Components of wall
plastering machine
The components of wall plastering
machine are as follow:
 Gear
 Steel tube
 Ceiling bean
 Stepper DC motor
 Chain and sprocket
 Plastering board
 Conveyor belt
 Caster with brake

6
Working
The working of wall plastering machine is based on following systems.

Gear system

Steel tube
7
Gear system:

 In this method, we use the compound

gear system to move the machine up
and down.
 We use the tooth bar, gears and shaft
in this technique.

8
Steel tube

 In the method, we use wires with

pulley to move wall plastering
machine ups and down.
 There are three members, two legs
fixed at the base, and it is hollow
and the other will slides inside
from above, they fixed by using
arc welding .and put two bearings
between the steel tube and the
container to slide easily with the
lowest friction when the machine
is on.

9
Ceiling bean

 Used to fix the steel tube

to the roof of the room
for the need of plastering
 The main purpose of this
part to fixed the machine
with the celling by using
the hydraulic system.

10
Stepper motor

 The motor is the main component in

the machine which move all items in
the system and a drive shaft fixed
with it .
 A stepper DC motor is used to move
the shafts and gears.

11
Chain and sprocket

 Chain and sprocket drives are

used to transmit power from one
component to another.
Specifically, they transfer speed
and torque using a linked chain
and sprockets.

12
Plastering board

 A board use to distribute

plastering material on the wall
tidily, by moving up and down to
make it smooth layer, can use an
air springs or helical springs to
control the angle that the board
will take it, in different time
during the plastering operation

13
Conveyor belt:

 It is used to move the

bleacher, which is used
on the wall from the ash
pit , this piece will be a
simple by using a rolling
parts from side and in the
other side will connected
with gear and the shaft .

14
Caster with brake

 Caster with brake is used

to stop the movement and
rotation of wheels of wall
plastering machine.
