Adding ‘s’
 What are nouns?
Nouns are names of people, places and things.
For example; teacher, house, street, bag, flowers, Palestine,
Sara, Jad, fish, snails, boats.
 Singular nouns
• Nouns could be singular
Singular = 1
For example; One tree, one boy, one moon, one cow.
 Plural nouns
Plural nouns are nouns that are 2 or more (more than one).
Plural = 2+
For example; four penguins, five fingers, ten books, twenty
horses.
 Singular nouns plural nouns
Add an ‘s’ at the end of a singular noun.
