 JS Bank Limited (JSBL) (‫ینک میٹڈ‬


‫ل‬ ‫ )جے ایسب‬is a Pakistani commercial bank and is
based in Karachi, Pakistan. JS Bank is a prominent, majority-owned subsidiary of 
Jahangir Siddiqui Group, with total revenue of around 562 million as of
December 2018. JS Bank Limited currently owns branches across the country as
well as an International branch in Manama, Bahrain. It was established in 2007 as
a result of the merger of two mega corporates (Jahangir Siddiqui Investment Bank
Limited and American Express Bank Limited - Pakistan operations.

impose taxes. Government of Pakistan take charge on Banking industry to
monitor Banking transactions and record which effect Banking industry.
Corruption in Pakistan mostly damage the economy and make image down in
international countries. Political stability plays vital role in country ratings and
may negatively impact the economy if rating is downgraded.
ECONOMIC FACTORS

 Economy and banking industry is connected. Bad economy lads back banking
industry and good and healthy economy leads to good banking system. Inflation
and deflation hit economy. Bad economy of Pakistan is the main reason which
prevents foreign investors to invest in Pakistan. Bad economic status doesn’t
allow borrower to make and clear their debts. bad debts effected most Banking
industry. When monetary policies changes all banking sector rates are changed.
Due to COVID-19 Pakistan is facing low economy which leads to low Banking
system.
SOCIAL FACTORS

 Social factors may be internal and external factors. Reputation risk hits most by
Banking industry. The risk to the earnings and capital arising from negative
perception among the stakeholders. This may have an impact on customer base
the Bank’s ability to capture new markets. Social factors have large influence on
Banking system or financial institute. People preferences choices allow bank to
make their banking system according to new trends and fashion. Banking system
of Pakistan effected by social changes. Highly trend of use ATM, DEBIT CARD
make most banking industry to deal with modern methods of industry.
TEHNOLOGICAL FACTORS

 The evolving role of technology and automation in the banking services sector
has become increasingly complex. Bank employs the advances in technology
which drives the efficiency of operations and financial soundness of these
institutions by improving overall decision-making process. As technology
becomes an integral part of the business and operations of financial institutions,
such technology usage and dependence, if not properly managed, may heighten
various risks. Bank has developed this policy aimed to enable themselves to keep
abreast with the aggressive and widespread adoption of technology.

 JS Bank has good command on their quality management which is its core
success and strengths.

 Job rotation among employees is not satisfactory.
 Mismanagement is taken place a lot in JS bank branches

 Competitors are excellent with their services; JS Bank have to work with new
modern patterns otherwise they face a lot to crashes and low ranking.
 Make political parties away from their business and banking criteria.
 Charges are bit higher than competitors.
 No proper use and information according to new technology working on long
lengthy procedure irritates customers.
Conclusion

 With this organizational analysis report I learned a lot about banking system and
banking terms and conditions. With all my research which I done on JS Bank I
came to this point that JS Bank is working according to new working patterns and
method to cope with their competitors. With my personal bank visit I noticed that
JS Bank environment is very up to mark professional. JS Bank is very well
managed Bank in Pakistan. JS Bank all management policies and procedures are
quite clear among their employees to avoid conflict. JS Bank work with their
highly professional staff. they value their customer and listen to them very
attentively and respond to their complaints. Work pressure is present in branches
to accomplished their work timely. JS Bank work in innovation to attract their
customers. JS bank policies, rules and regulations are clear among employees. In
my opinion JS Bank work with their best policies but they have to make their
advertisement program to attract more and retainable customers.
Recommendations for improvement

 Following are the recommendations for JS Bank:


 JS Bank increases their staff to deal with work load and pressure
 Meeting held after 1 or 2 months to overcome conflict
 JS Bank must work on new innovative technology work patterns
 JS Bank is making profit by giving more attention on agriculture department.
 Training and development is done in batches vise.
 Make Islamic policies clear to customers.
