of which possess their own unique
characteristics

Hunting and gathering society

Societies that rely primarily or

exclusively on hunting wild
animals, fishing, and gathering
wild fruits, berries, nuts, and
vegetables to support their diet
Pastoral society

A pastoral society is a social group

of pastoralists, whose way of life
is based on pastoralism, and is
typically nomadic. Daily life is
centered upon the tending of
herds or flocks.
Agricultural Society

An agrarian society (or

agricultural society) is any
society whose economy is based
on producing and maintaining
crops and farmland.
Industrial society

In sociology, industrial society

refers to a society driven by the
use of technology to enable mass
production, supporting a large
population with a high capacity for
division of labor.
