INTRODUCTION TO THE LESSON
In this lesson we need to keep an open mind
and a desire to discover as we go on a literary
tour of our community in search of some
literary gem. This lesson’s goal is to write a
research paper about one literary figure,
literary work, or place of literary significance
from our local community.
EXPLORING TEXT AND
CONTEXT
Text refers to the words which are written,
while context is the surroundings of the text,
whether it is created within the text or
describing the situation of the author's life in
which the text was written.
Steps we can take :
I. Select a general topic
II. Gather Data
III. Find more specialized data
IV. Form a Research Question
V. Brainstorm on your topic
