● Testing started very slow
● Eventually, anyone could be tested
● Testing required to travel, to go events, etc.

Cases
● Made clear that virus was very contagious
● Cases started out slow, then spread like wildfire
● More testing, more cases
● Mask mandate helped cases
● Colder months, more cases
Shutdown
● Result due to rise of cases
● No Sporting events, Concerts, Big gatherings
● Restaurants were closed for dine in
● Public places were closed for indoor events
● Outdoor events were praised
● Online work, shopping, etc. Increased
School Closures
● Schools closed in person, March 2020
● School continued on with internet courses
● Some States/Countries went back to in person classes sooner than others
● Determined by government officials
● Oregon went back to in person fall 2021
● Graduations, school events, etc. were virtual
Deaths
● Deadliest Virus in history
● More deaths found in older population
● Pre Medical conditions increases chances
● Youngest death, under 1 year old
