Why MSMEs are important?

 MSMEs play a crucial role in nation building.


 They provide large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital
cost.
 They help in industrialization of rural & backward area, thereby, reducing
regional imbalances.
 They help in assuring more equitable distribution of national income and
wealth.
 MSMEs are complementary to large industries as ancillary units
 This sector contributes enormously to the socio-economic development of the
country
MSME Classification

 The MSMEs have been classified into Micro, Small & Medium enterprises. The
classification has been given under Gazette notification S.O. 2119(E) dated
26.06.2020, which is as follows:
Type of Enterprise Investment in Plant & Machinery Turnover

   Micro Enterprise Upto Rs. 1.00 crs. Upto Rs. 5.00 crs.

Small Enterprise Upto Rs. 10.00 crs. Upto Rs. 50.00 crs.

Medium Enterprise Upto Rs. 50.00 crs. Upto Rs. 250.00 crs.

 Any person who intends to establish a micro, small or medium enterprise may file
Udyam Registration online in the Udyam Registration portal, based on self-declaration
with no requirement to upload documents, papers, certificates or proof.

 Target Group Regulatory MSME Units engaged in trade of any commodity /


goods in physical form required by the community and trading in them is not
prohibited by law or opposed to public interest.
 Nature of facility Overdraft - General/Overdraft-Reducing / Term Loan / Non
Fund based facility.
 Assessment of Limit As per MPBF following GCEMP Guidelines Or Advance
value of property, whichever is lower.
 Benefit Stock statement to be obtained once a year i.e. as of last day of
February, by 10th of March every year.
 Stock /Book- Debt Audit will NOT be applicable for facilities sanctioned under
this scheme
 
Commercial Vehicle

 Type of Vehicles eligible All types of CV i.e. SCV/LCV/ ICV/ MHCV/ are
allowed for funding under the scheme as per LTV Matrix.
 Eligible Borrower Criteria Funding allowed only for Resident Indian National as
under: • Individuals, Proprietorship, Partnership Firms. • Companies, Trust /
associations ~ , LLP.
 Loan Limit Min Rs. 10.00 lac & Max 3000.00 Lac.
 Eligible Assets New Vehicles (Fully Built or Chassis versions) &
Funding on Body is not allowed.

spokes (dealers & vendors) recommended by the Anchor.
 Security Obtaining Primary & Collateral security is not mandatory and the same
depends on spokes’ credit appraisal and performance. Comfort /
Recommendation is provided by the Anchor.
 Tenor Every Draw-down has a pre-defined repayment period (usually up to90-
days and maximum up to -120- days in specific cases)

MSME UTSAV

 MSME enterprises contribute a third of India's gross domestic product and


provide employment to over 110 million workers. It was found production
falling from an average of 75% of capacity to just 13%. On an average, firms
retained only 44% of their workforce, and 69% of firms reported inability to
survive longer than three months
 Revival of MSMEs would be possible by access of adequate finance, capacity
building and building a knowledge on handling digital channels of banking as
well as of trade
 In view of the above, a campaign named "MSME Utsav" with concessional
ROI/Commission/Processing charges for NTB customers (including win back)
from ?fh October 2021 to 31 51 December, 2021

 Cibil MSME Rank (CMR) is a credit default predictor model for micro, small
and Medium Enterprises. CMR provide insights into the credit behavior of the
borrowing entity and predict the probability of default over one year Horizon.
 Hard security coverage will be calculated as under for the campaign period
for calculation of concessions as per matrix above.
 Hard security coverage will be calculated as under for the campaign
residential property 80% of Market Value , Commercial property of 75% of
Market Value, Industrial proeperty 60% of Market Value.
 Upto 7.5 Cr ROI is depend of CMR Rank and Hard Security.
 Exposure more than Rs. 7.5 Cr depend on Internal rating.
