WHAT IS COVID-19

- Caused by evolved virus of SARS-CoV2.


- First case reported on 31st December 2019, following a cluster of
case known as “viral pneumonia” in Wuhan, China.
- As precendent Covid-19 events, whole world affects into this
pandemic and announced LOCKDOWN till vaccination has been
found.
SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19

▪ FEVER
▪ DRY COUGH
▪ FATIGUE
-Other symptoms that are less common are:
. Loss of taste or smell,
.Nasal congestion,
.Conjunctivitis (also known as red eyes)
.Sore throat,
.Headache,
.Muscle or joint pain,

-60 years and above

-Underlying medical problems like:

GOVERNMENT ROLE AND KKM APPROACH

▪ On March 18th 2020, Government introduced MCO which


prolonged for 3 months.
▪ Moved out through MCO campaign with #Stayhome hashtag.
▪ BY JUNE 2020, MCO lifted stage by stage at each state.
▪ Introduced CMCO, EMCO for outbreak cluster and variant from
imported case from outstation personnel.
▪ Whilst in MCO period, government initiated health tracking app for
Covid-19 called “Mysejahtera” and SELANGKAH app.
KKM APPROACH AND ROLE

▪ All frontline staff should adhere to MOH recommendations on the


use of PPE and
▪ should be updated on the available guidelines on management of
COVID- 19
▪ Screening of suspected and management of confirmed patients
should be as per MOH guidelines which are constantly updated.
▪ Confirmed patients should be referred to designated MOH COVID-19
hospitals
▪ COVID-19 Low Risk Treatment and Quarantine Center (PKRC) or
Assessment Center (CAC) for the suitability of home quarantine
(Category 1 and Category 2).

- Vaccination is considered as one of the most effective strategies in
infection control.
- About 70-80% of the world population would need to be immune
(natural infection or vaccination).

Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA). - Pfizer-BioNTech,

vaccination.
▪ 5,952,815 1st dose received by Malaysians as updated on 2nd July
2021
▪ So far, 521 vaccination center has been anointed and build around
Malaysia.
- As 2nd of July 2021, here are the accumulated vaccine receivers from each state.

SELANGKAH APP & WHY

-AIMS to ensure safer movement through MCO,CMCO &

purpose.
- Such tracking to identify potential covid cases and break
the chain of the cluster.
CHART ORGANIZATION FLOW OF JKJAV
JKJAV CHART FLOW

▪ Explains the flow of how JKJAV works in manner to supply the


vaccination.
▪ Here it divides the chart flow into how policies and implementation
of vaccination done respectively.
▪ And lastly carrying the vaccination supply operations into assigned
PPV throughout Malaysia.
TOTAL DOSE VACCINATED IN MALAYSIA
NUMBERS OF VACCINATION.

▪ Total of 8.08 million doses administrated.


▪ 1st dose receivers has been 17.62% where 5.77million individuals
covered.
▪ Fully inoculated will be 7.04% and the numbers keep growing as
more vaccine supply are being procured.
▪ As today, total of 258,773 number of doses has been
administrated.
CONCLUSION

▪ Its important to get vaccinated as to build stronger antibodies to


stop the spread of Covid-19
▪ Till the number of vaccinated target achieved, WE HAVE TO
ADHERE STRICT SOP AND SANITIZE HAND ALL THE TIME!.
▪ As advised, we can reach more growing numbers for vaccination to
build a stronger community to stop the COVID-19 widespread.
