 The Danger of Silence
Clint Smith, a teacher, poet, and
activist, used nonverbal type kinesics
in this TED Talk because he
confidently used hand gestures and
also posture to speak or so that other
people understand it reflects on finding
the courage to use his voice to speak
up for truth and justice. His use of
metaphors, which directly relate his
concept of silence to examples of how
these silences can manifest
themselves, heightens his impact on
the audience. He develops significant
verbal and visual elements in the video
to use a variety of rhetorical strategies
to convey his idea. The speaker has a
profound impact on people's lives In
the end he decided to keep his voice
because he became aware that if you
chose to be silenced you also chose to
sacrifice yourself
The Hows of Us
Both of it shows a lot of Non-Verbal
Communication such as Facial
Expressions, Kinesics, and Body
Posture and It also gives the audience
a heavy impact towards their
presentation, the way they deliver
their lines and speech with non verbal
communication gives in more element
and impact when you see and hear it.
The Hows of Us revolves
around the life of Georgina
and Primo how they tackle
their problems in life, in
terms of communication the
movie has multiple forms of
communication, mostly
verbal but also visual due to
their body language. A lot of
it was shown due to them
being mentally tired in their
relationship and not being
able to communicate well
with their partner because
they are stressed about their
own dreams and path in life
and they let it all out by
verbally talking to each other
not very well
