LUCK
He worked by day
And toiled by night.
He gave up play
And some delight.
Dry books he read,
New things to learn.
And forged ahead,
Success to earn.
He plodded on with
Faith and pluck;
And when he won,
Men called it luck.

THE WILMA RUDOLPH STORY

Wilma Rudolph suffered double pneumonia with scarlet fever at

age four which left her paralyzed with polio.
The doctors said that she would never keep her foot on the earth.
Wilma’s mother told her that with God given ability, persistence
and faith she could do anything she wanted.
Wilma said that she wanted to be the fastest woman on the track
on this earth. Against the advice of doctors, she removed the
brace and took her first step.
It became history in 1960 Olympics that a paralytic woman
became the fastest woman on earth when she won four gold
medals in 100m,200m,400m,4*100m relay races.

WINNING Vs WINNERS

 Winning is an event . Being a winner is a spirit.

 Itis better to deserve victory and not have it than to

have it and not deserve it.
