 Known as Sunway Holdings Incorporated
Berhad
 Commenced operations in 1986
 Mainly to develop the Sunway  township
in Petaling Jaya
 The managing director of Sunway group is
Mr Yau Kok Seng
 The parent company of Sunway Group
is Sunway Holdings Incorporated Berhad.
 Listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad
since 16 February 1984.
 The other publicly listed subsidiary includes
Sunway Infrastructure Berhad and Sunway
City Berhad

CHEAH
 Founder and current chairman of the Sunway Group of
companies.
 He was listed in Malaysia’s top 40 richest man in year
2010 and was ranked at the 18th, with the assets worth
USD 350 million.
 He was given birth in Pusing (nearby Ipoh), Perak
 Completed primary and secondary education in Batu
Gajah.
 Tertiary education at the Footscray Institute of Technology
(now Victoria University) in Melbourne, Australia.
 Started up his career as an accountant in Asian Motors, a
motor assembly plant in Malaysia. But it only last for two
years .
 In 1994, with the paid-up capital of just RM100 000, he
started up a small tin-mining company with the name
Sunway Group
 He has the most award and recognition from local as well as
worldwide. He do not only holds some good position in variety
of industries, but also has been given lots of awards.
 His characteristic is to :
