1000 per course; however for SC/ST/PwD; Rs. 500 per
course.

Note: fee waiver facility for candidates upto 50 % is available

for low income group (income below Rs. 8 lakh as certified
from Maharasthra or any other state (Indian). Such
candidates are to make initial payment of Rs. 1000, have
high score out of 100 marks, claim (reimburse) fee waiver
facility after obtaining NPTEL certificate for the course)
 NPTEL - 2021 EXAM: Passing Criteria
• Learners are to obtain a minimum average of
(10/25) marks in assignment marks and (30/75)
marks in the proctored examination to obtain
NPTEL  pass certification.
• The best average of 6 out of 8 weekly assignments
marks  are considered for the 8-week course; (8 out
of 12  weekly assignments marks are considered for
the 12-week course and 3 out of 4- week course.).
Hence, don't ignore weekly assignment marks.
