WHAT IS AIR POLLUTION ?

 Air pollution is defined as the presence of a mixture of solid particles,


gases and chemicals in the atmosphere that are harmful to the health of all
living things on earth and is damaging to the natural environment.

 Humans introduce these toxic chemicals to the earth and it needs to be


stopped.
CAUSES OF AIR POLLUTION

• VEHICULAR EXHAUST FUMES


• INDUSTRIAL FACTORIES AND PLANTS EXHAUST
• WILDFIRE SMOKES
• AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES
• INDOOR AIR POLLUTION

 DAMAGING HEALTH EVEN TO DEATH

 ACID RAIN

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

 Replace fossil fuels with alternative energies.

 Reduce consumption of energy.

 Stop starting unnecessary fires.

 Build safe and affordable public transportation systems
