Introduction to Internship

• Experience is the best teacher and experience makes us perfect. These

proverbs remind us of the purpose of experience or training. According
to me internship is a training, which helped me in turn to ship into the
particular field where I came to know the things, which I have learned
during the regular class hours.

• By doing, internship is an actual workplace; it helps me to know about

myself in different angles. It also helps me to control and develop my
attitude and behavior in dealing with different kinds of people. I have
decided to take the internship to grab the opportunities to apply
theories and knowledge, which I learned in my life. I learned the
concepts theoretically but doing internship, I learned the practical
approach to deal with the real world.

Work Done
 Learnt voucher checking with the guidance of my superior and learnt checking of opening balance of an
expenses account in school’s ledger book carefully.

 Learnt to prepare a receipts and payments account of an individual person’s bank account to file an
income tax return by my superior.

 I verified the voucher in that day. I learnt every voucher is valid only when it sealed or signed by the
concern authorities. Otherwise the voucher will not be taken into the account. it is to be maintained in
manual format.

 Checked opening balance of the current year financial statements with closing balance of the previous
year financial statements of a school. It was quiet interesting to do the work.

 I recorded the journal entries in computer and prepared the ledger and trial balance of the firm with the
help of tally ERP9 software.

 In this day important steps involving in the preparation of receipts and payments account of an individual
person’s bank account to move further step to make ITR.

Learning Outcomes
 I learned how to divide the expenses and income of a individual customer by
their bank statements and other source details for Income tax return filing.

 I learned how to handle a problem.

 I learned how to handle the bottleneck situations.

 I learned division of work.

 I learned how to be aware of the viral update.

 I learned these things from my internship program. I think it’s very useful for
my life and it is an experience for the job.

CONCLUSION

Internship training given the opportunities to every student

and to expose the real work undertaken. Everyday I learned
new information and the training was interesting to me. It
was a very great experience for me. The training helped me
to develop my practical knowledge in auditing. This training
was very useful for my career.
