Four basic elements of
architecture and design: Point,
Line, Plane and Volume.
POINT LINE
01 A point itself has no size. 02 Line is the very basic
component of a shape.
PLANE VOLUME
03 Planes creates spaces in its
basic form.
04 A volume has a 3-
dimensions.
POINT
A point has no dimension. To visibly mark a
position in space or on the ground plane, a point
must be projected vertically into linear form, as a
column, obelisk or tower.
