Eye Safety
• All personnel should wear wavelength specific laser safety glasses with side shields

• Patients should wear opaque eye protection or wavelength specific laser safety goggles. Use metal ocular
eye shields if the face is treated

• Safety filter should be attached when optical instruments are used

• Remove reflective objects from surgical field

• Never look directly into the laser handpiece or fiber, even with safty glasses in place

• Maintain the laser in standby position except when in use

o Remove the top cover

o Fill the coolant according to page 33 to 35.
o Insert or replace Ion Exchnage bag

o Connect the door interlock plug

o Pairing of wireless footswitch ( new replacement, SM Pg 66)

o Perform test and mesaurement according to the check list.
