Front-End Analysis

FRONT END ANALYSIS OBJECTIVE:

To sort out the problem and to provide a
constructive base to management for enhancing
performance and efficiency of students.
Goal Statement

To reduce the gaps among the school management
including teachers and students.

Description of Interview

We have decided to use the group of students for this

assignment. We know some students who actually
facing problems relating to their studies. There are 10
students who are a mix of primary and secondary
classes. The student wechosen to interview is a
primary and second students who are currently
studying in a 4 till 10thgrade. Much of the interview
focused on the factors that they have expressed
throughout the year. We would greatly help them
through our own instruction to know why.

Questions that we asked:

Do you get academic support or motivation from school?

Do you like your class and school?
Did you miss your classes due to less instruction and more burden from you
teacher?
Do you like to go school?
Do you like your class room?
Did you like teaching staff?
Did you like your friends?
Did you feel that your course is very lengthy and its difficult to manage all that?
Did you think your teacher is making hard to learn that lengthy course?
Are you facing any health issue?
Are you physically fine?
Did you think that your family support you in studies?
Do your family have any financial issue?
What we learnt from interview

From this interview, we learned that a lot of factors are

creating hurdles for student. Some students thinks that
their school management wouldn’t like them that’s why
they don’t go to school, some think that they like their
class and school but course burden don’t let them go to
the school, some having health issues that’s why they don’t
go to school, some are having financial issues. So a lot of
factors that results problem absenteeism. This will greatly
inform my own instruction. We know that we need to be
sure to give the students a sense of closure at the end of
the lesson and be careful not to “leave them hanging.”
