Introduction

The outbreak of COVID 19 brings harm to people, especially to students, not

just physically but also mentally. The arrival of COVID 19 here in the
Philippines has had a big impact on the changes in the Philippine educational
system.

From the traditional ''Face to Face '' scenario, it immediately shifts to the "New
Normal System" in which the learners will not come to school to study anymore,
but they will stay at home for safety of being in contact with the CoronaVirus
’19.
It might be unnoticeable to others, but the increasing number of cases of suicide
due to the new normal situation is evidence that most students find it difficult in
today's education, and most of them are not mentally stable and in need of
assistance.

Due to the changing learning environment, the researchers conducted this study
to determine the impact of the New Learning to the mental health of the
respondents, which is the Grade 12 HUMSS students.
