BHEEMA SCHEMES IN RAMPUR VILLAGE

INTRODUCTION
• Farming requires both hard work and money to buy equipment.

• In order to buy equipment's like seeds and fertilizers, farmers are taking loans and falling in debts.
• To protect farmers from falling in debts, government of Telangana initiated agriculture investment scheme
called “RYTHU BANDHU” on 10th May 2018.
• Rythu Bandhu scheme provides financial support for two crops a year.
• It provides Rs.5000/ per acre per season to support farm investment, twice a year, for Rabi and Kharif
seasons.
• Another scheme called Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Scheme which similar to Rythu Bandhu scheme is
initiated by Central Government on 1st December 2018
• Another scheme called “RYTHU BHEEMA” is a farmers group life insurance scheme. It was initiated on
14th August 2018. It is to provide financial relief and social security to the family members, in case of lose
of farmers life due to any reason. The insured amount of Rs.5 lakhs is deposited into the designated
nominee account within 10 days.
OBJECTIVES OF STUDY

• To study the Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema schemes in general


• To analyze the financial status of farmers before and after Rythu Bandhu
• To study the difference between Rythu Bandhu and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme
• To study the satisfaction of farmers towards Rythu Bandhu of Rampur village Adilabad District
• To study the satisfaction of farmers towards Rythu Bheema of Rampur village Adilabad District
SCOPE OF STUDY

• This data is collected based on 3years of farmers opinion on Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema scheme of
Rampur village i.e. from the year 2019-2021
LIMITATIONS OF STUDY

• The study is only confined with the farmers of Rampur village.


• These project includes only two schemes.
• The perception of farmers may vary from each other, so we cannot get similar opinions.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

• Sample Size: A sample size of 50 respondents will be taken.


• Sample Unit: Farmers in Rampur village.
• Data Collection:
• This data will be collected in two forms i.e. primary data and secondary data.
• Primary data will be collected directly from farmers.
• Secondary data will be collected from Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bheema websites.
