➔ Majority of Plastic bags not recycled ➔ not the only source of plastic pollution

➔ harms wildlife and marine life ➔ won't do much to help the damage already
done (landfills, etc.)
➔ something is better than doing nothing
➔ 1 million americans in the plastic industry!
➔ 1,000 years to decompose!
➔ very convenient and common
➔ energy wasted

we are removing one of the biggest threats to
