to merchandise grain to many users such as ethanol plants, distilleries, food manufacturers, and feed lots.

• Grain Group
• From America's great heartland, CGB originates and markets grain and
oilseeds for the export and domestic channels. CGB has an extensive
network of nearly 100 grain elevators and terminals that utilize various
modes of transportation. Our focus is on providing quality service and
products for farmers and dealers as well as our end use customers.
Because of this focus, we value close relationships with our customers
for food and feed in the US and around the world.
• Premium GrainsSM
• Our Premium GrainsSM Group coordinates and supplies specific qualities
or traits our end-users need by truck, rail, barge or ship. Producers
enrolled in our  Premium GrainsSMprograms may earn additional
premiums for quality products.
• The CGB Soybean Plant was built in 1997 in Mt. Vernon Indiana providing a competitive soybean market for area
farmers while supplying the demands of agribusiness customers in a variety of areas. Customers include feed mills,
poultry manufacturers, and hog farmers – or anyone interested in purchasing soybean products.
• Products 
Products include soybean meal, hulls and oil. Meal is sold with high protein content. Oil is sold as "crude" and "crude -
degummed". Hulls are pelleted into 1/4" size. All products are sold via truck, rail, and barge into the domestic and CIF
export markets. 

Processing 
Processing capacity is approximately 65,000 bushels per day, or approximately 1400 shorttons per day. 

Soybean Processing 
One bushel of soybeans is 60 lbs. From one bushel of soybeans, processing plants typically yield 11 pounds of oil, 44
pounds of meal, three pounds of hulls, and 2 pounds of shrink.
