INTRODUCTION:-
The Case Study is based on the following:-
 The emotional dilemma of an employee goes
through while switching his organization.
 The attitudinal changes in an individual when they
leads to the dynamic change in their behaviour
towards the organizational goal and its objective.
 Inconsistency of attitude.
 Job Satisfaction.
 Emotional Intelligence.
CASE ANALYSIS:-
 It is the diary entry of a young individual who is
confused over for switching his profession from one
to another.
 He narrates an unresolved dilemma that he has facing
from the past 6 months in his profession.
 He counters the ethics of the society and decides to
quit his job from an MNC Sector and start his
doctoral Studies at USA.
 After 6 months of joining in doctorial studies, he
realized the importance of money aspects.
 He feels that he has been trapped in a “Rat Race” yet
again.
CHARACTER SKETCH OF DEEPAK:-
 A 25 year old management graduate.
 5 years work experience in MNC .
 Dynamic young individual.
 Optimistic.
 Broadminded.
 Self Motivated.
 Slightly Confused Attitude.

Factors that affected Deepak Dey’s Career Choice:-

 The Urge for Self –Development.


 The quest of Socially relevant role.
 The desire to learn more than what he could learn from the scope
of his executive job.
Unresolved dilemmas in Deepak's mind:-
 If the new role assigned to him which he was expected that kind of
satisfaction and success that Deepak was looking for.
 If the environment was going to be that stimulating in the
academic world which Deepak was expected in his life.
 He was generalizing too much on the basis of his experience with
some of his professors.

between the attitudes and  behaviour of Mr. Dey? Compare Mr. Dey's
earlier attitudes with that of his attitudes and  behaviour six months
