INTRODUCTION OF THE COMPANY:
 Barani hydraulics India private limited had been established in the year of
1988 and today it has grown as internally reputed solution provider
 It under takes design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of hydraulic
presses and special purpose machine for wide range of applications
incorporating innovative technologies.
 Barani hydraulics focusses on designing and building the machines for future
requirements such as industry 4.0 concept and artificial intelligence
features.
 It provides turnkey solution for auto components and solid tyre
manufacturing segments.
 Barani is the only company having international certification like JIS,CE,
UL, NEMA, for their product.
Industry profile

 In the past 32 years it has completed more than 2500 installations of


hydraulic machines.

 The performance and quality of Barani products has earned 4 national


awards and 72 customer award including an international award.

 Barani hydraulics company also manufacture hydraulics presses and


machines and spare parts for machines and aero space parts.

 They are manufacturing automobiles, sheet metal, ceramics and


refractories, solid tyre, aerospace.

Purchase department:
 All the purchases are made against property authorized requisition and
valid sanctions showing the correct and detailed end use
 All the material required are daily ordered from the right source after
full enquire at most competitive price taking into account trade
discount and tax benefits.
 The purchase orders will be singed by the stores and purchase officer or
in the absences by section officer and administrative officers.
 All the purchase made on the credit basis must be on the basis of the
firm supply order.
 Stock level for all respective item shall to be fixed on consumption
basis with the approval of head of division
 Annual indent shall be prepared accordingly to procurement.
Design and development department:
 The design and development activities of the organization can be
grouped under two faculties on the basis of work input required to bring
out output design
 Based on customer requirements a new product is designed out of
acquired knowledge of machine building experiences and adopting new
technologies
 The established design shall establish and maintain the document
procedure to control and verify the design and development of product
output.
 The whole product development consists of planning phase, concept
phase, feasibility phase, design for production phase, and application
phase.
 The whole project of components and control design are verified by the
md and manufacturer head and issued to the production department.
Production department:
 Production department is the most important department .its has many sections
 The raw materials are issued from store to made hydraulic press machine the first step for
the production of hydraulic press machine is fabrication.
 Fabrication-the material received from the store the material is gas cut to require shape
and size from mother plant by manual cutting or using machine. The next stage welding
process as per wps and the fabricated sheets are send to the machine shop for feature use.
 Machine shop- the next stage the fabricated metal sheets are attached for the hydraulics
press machine parts and sent to the assembly section.
 Sub assembly-the machine parts are assembled as per the design given by the superor for
hydraulics press machine and power back is cleaned checked for leak and panited before
fitting inner elements and top plates of machines.
 Metal sheet fabrication-the assembled parts are rough it is made as smooth for machine
attachment.
 Electrical assembly-the electrical and other materials for press machine are attached in
this section.
 Machine assembly-the work by men like welding ,cutting ,drilling and tapping are done in
this section
 Trial run is made for the conformation of product and final testing is done for required
performance and test results are evaluated customer requirement and design provided.
Quality control department
Itis the next most important department for organization and for buying and selling
products for checking quality.
Inspection activities is break into stages which are to be required 1at source inspection 2
on receipts 3in process 4 final inspection.

Receiving inspection-Incoming material are received and checked based on po and


supplier dc invoice. Receipt material are submitted inspection by store along with the
supplier document .raw material and chemicals are inspected as per plan parts for direct
assembly by intender as per plan. Electrical items are inspected in electrical department
as per plan.

Inspection at resources-Product readiness information at the source is received from


purchase /sub contract.
In process of inspection- process operation is carried out as per process flow chart
production scheduled and production drawing. Inspection product at various stage
carried out as per plan where required processes are outsourced as per outsourced
Accounts and sales department
 In this section by are maintaining cash book, sales book , purchase
book , debtor book etc.
 This department head is finance manager he keeps the track of day to
day fund transaction entered by the cashier he tally the cash balance
every day.
 The accounts department count up all the money spent anywhere in
the company and how much money we have.
 For sales process the invoice is prepared this includes customer name,
GST ECT
 For export the invoice is prepared in the same way part of discharge ,
final destination, port of loading, buyer order no.
Human resources department
 Recruitment and appointment in barani hydraulics are based on the on the
principle of open competition and merits

 Training and development in barani hydraulics are three types

 Orientation/induction training, on the job training, exposure visits, training


outside company.

 Performance appraisal there is appraisal and rewards are given to the good
working employee based on the work done.

 Salary and benefits- salary increase result from general revision and yearly
increment are done in the anniversary of the joining date.

 Overtime pay-the employees are paid as per the work done by employee.

conclusion

 Experiences makes perfection this was my first experience


at an industry .For the first time I was exposed to the real
industrial environment. An observation on various function
performed in department of industry is made it will be
very helpful for me in future.
